We meditate on the Psalms together. We might just sing a little too. Talent is not required.

Who?
Contact the group leader, James Carvin at 561-906-2888. This group is open to all ages, male or female and is not limited by number. Nursery/Child care may be available depending on volunteers. Freedom Church is part of the Assemblies of God family of churches. The group is open to everyone regardless of religious affiliation or denomination. You do not have to be a member of Freedom Church to attend. Whether you are new to the Psalms and the Bible and not sure if you are a believer, or a seasoned Christian, Jew or agnostic who speaks ancient languages and taught in monastery, all are welcome to share life together and hear what God is saying through one another as we reflect on the Psalms together.
How?
We will spend two weeks on each Psalm starting with Psalm 1 addressing it first through a reading and short teaching. Then on the second session for each Psalm individuals will share theirr experiences with the group. The first week, we will assign the Psalm. Each participant will ruminate on the Psalm during the two weeks. Memorization and prayer walks are optional but encouraged. The second week we will hear back from each person of the group about their experience. As the group grows in number, discussion moderators are assigned to sub groups so no matter how large the community becomes each person is able to share their experience and get to know the other members and journey together on the same verses with them. This is largely a community building experience. This is not a limited capacity closed group. Feel free to invite friends.
