I indicated in several recent messages that I was seeking a private meeting with Donald Trump to be scheduled Spring, 2017. I’m an old Palm Beach surfer dude. Yes, he doesn’t surf. I know that. But he might actually like to use his beach for himself every now and then. Surfing is a great way to talk, similar to golf. We’ll both suck at it as I haven’t surfed since 1979. In this video I discuss what it is I want to talk to the Don about.
As I walked my dog this morning, I reflected on our nation’s debt. My proposal of a Net Worth tax is given in chapter two of the Restoration Party Manifesto. A 5% annual GDP growth rate with an average 30% tax rate produces an average 1.5% increase in tax revenue. This is an insufficient increase in revenue to even balance a budget, much less pay off the twenty trillion in accumulated debt, as Donald Trump proposed. My proposal immediately pays off the entire twenty trillion in national debt without increasing taxes or sacrificing any government programs. I argue here that a net worth tax is inherently fair because the twenty trillion dollars owed has primarily benefited the wealthy rather than the poor and the tax is not a hand out to the poor. It simply returns borrowed money.
I should add that the payment of the twenty trillion dollar debt can be managed through reassignable liens, as I described in chapter two of the Manifesto so there is never any liquidity shortage. Unlike net worth taxes attempted in France and Germany and other nations, the tax is not on items but on total worth, wherever it is possessed. Therefore, there won’t be a capital flight problem and this is not a proposal that has ever been attempted. The net worth tax is simply a bill. Unlike as in France, it is not the government who determines what property to place liens on. That power belongs to the owner of the assets and the tax payer can re-assign which property the liens are on any time they want for a modest fee.
I should also add that the net worth tax is just one of many possible ways to pay off the debt. Supplanting Federal currencies with state currencies while the dollar fails is another way. The debt can also be paid off more slowly. A thirty year mortgage at 3% comes to about one trillion per year. Please notice that no mortgage payment has ever been made on our national debt. We must now face our debt. If we don’t, the apocalypse this video predicts will result.
I am calling for Restoration Party activists to rise up and take power in the United States immediately in order to restore America to fiscal responsibility. Without fiscal responsibility, government does not serve us. It enslaves us. Our forefathers died in order to have a government that is FOR the people and OF the people and BY the people – not an elite few who exploit us for their personal careers and to line their own pockets with. If you want to take America back, you must dedicate your time collecting signatures for the Acts the Manifesto proposes, writing letters to Congress and converting activists to the Restoration Party. Voting is not enough. Your time is required. This is a war against time. I am issuing a solemn warning to America. Do not ignore what I am saying.
It’s Homecoming weekend at Florida A&M University, the nation’s most prized minority institution of higher learning, but all is not right in America. We have a long way to go before we’ve achieved healing between the races. In this video James Carvin talks about why the Restoration Party is the only solution to America’s racial division.
In this three part series, I urge listeners to offer a minimum of one hour of week in service, letting their legislators know about the Restoration Party as they support any of the five major Acts outlined in Chapter 3 of the Restoration Party Manifesto. It’s a lot of work but if you want to prevent a forthcoming apocalypse, you’ve got to take the time.
Part 1/3 Introduction
Part 2/3 Why I hate each of the other parties
Part 3/3 – Changing Party Affiliation means Divorcing the Oligarchy and the 99% will know that. (Sorry this is sideways for some reason.)
Biometrics is superior to an ID card because it can’t be lost. Plus it can pay for itself. If you want national security, support the Restoration Party. Here, I reflect on the shores of St. Augustine in the aftermath of a devastating hurricane.
My perspective on gay rights – a lesson on the fundamentals of Biblical interpretation. The end of this video was cut off with my conclusion, beginning with the words, “there are two things I don’t want.”
Here are the two things I don’t want: (1)the gay community telling religious institutions what to believe and what they can’t say, seeking to jail fundamentalists for hate speech and (2) the churches telling the government how to interpret the Bible and dictating its laws. I have always supported same sex civil marriage for this reason. As for the Restoration Party, while I do call everyone to be open minded, there is no party stance on the matter other than the separation of church and state. The party is about restoring government back to the people. The people have many views. Pitting conservatives against liberals divides them. Uniting as a single party with diverse views is a healthy step toward mutual respect. I’m fairly certain that is where the majority of Americans actually stand. I believe America is teachable. Can you reboot with a clear slate, please?
The Better Voting Systems Act – Part 1/2
This first part talks about the problem with cyber security not only as it relates to the integrity of elections, but the integrity of the elected. It serves as an introduction to Restoration Party values.
The Better Voting Systems Act – Part 2/2
This second part spells out what the Better Voting Systems Act will do to restore representation to the American people so that their vote actually starts to matter again.
These two videos summarize why the Restoration Party is needed and what it will do to solve the nation’s debt crisis.
